I am an Omnichannel Product Management professional who worked for close to ten years in multiple business areas of Walmart ranging from store operations, logistics, e-commerce and global sourcing. In a career spanning 16+ years, I have worked at various locations in India, the US and UK. I also traveled to China and have led a successful internal consulting team for analytics and industrial engineering practices within Walmart.
I moved back to India in 2011 to work in the e-commerce start-up industry. After working briefly for two major start-up firms in India, I had moved back to working for Walmart from their Bangalore office. I am currently a business process planning professional in the Sourcing & Procurement hub in India. My interest in product management stems from a career where I organically grew in the IT industry as a programmer, team lead, project manager and eventually a business consultant.
I have an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. I am a technopreneurship startup advisor and enjoy the world of omnichannel retail. I blog occasionally, write short stories, spar at the intellectual level with like-minded people on politics, religion and philosophy, practice yoga and meditation, do drawing, gardening, stamp collecting and am warming up to becoming an organic farmer. In 2015, I self-published a book of fiction based on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. I live with my family in Bangalore, India.
